Transportation
Recommendations for getting around
Our recommendation: For most of our guests visiting from out of town, we do not recommend renting a car. Even if you don't feel like taking public transportation, remember that the Hotel Marlowe is a short cab ride from both the airport and the church where the ceremony will be held.
Public transit: St. Paul Parish is a short walk from the Harvard Square station on the MBTA (subway) red line. Access station information here and the MBTA system map here. Unfortunately, the Hotel Marlowe is not as easily accessible to the red line. The closest red line station is Kendall Square, approximately 0.7 miles away. For travel into and out of Boston, Lechmere station on the green line is less than half a mile from the Hotel Marlowe.
Parking: Valet parking at the Hotel Marlowe is free during the reception. Otherwise, the nightly rate is $xx. For the ceremony, in addition to street parking around Harvard Square there are a number of parking ramps a short walk from St. Paul Parish. Click here for a map of parking ramps in the area. The driving distance between the hotel and the church is approximately 4 miles.
"Did he ever return?
No he never returned
And his fate is still unlearn'd
He may ride forever
'neath the streets of Boston
He's the man who never returned."
